Welcome to the Soroptimist International Art AuctionSoroptimist International On The Terrace and Soroptimist International Maylands Peninsula have combined with UnitingCare West to hold an Art Auction to raise money to assist the Trinity Learning Centre develop and pilot a Peer Monitoring Program for Pregnant and Parenting Teens. The SI Art AuctionThe SI Art Auction will be held at the Old Bakery on Eighth Gallery & Café on Saturday April 9, 2011 at 6.00 pm. Works for auction or sale will be on display from March 27. Well-known Perth art critic Carl Altmann will talk about the works on auction before the SI Art Auction commences. The auctioneer will be Mathew Donelly of Alan Donelly & Co. LaunchAn event to launch the exhibition of pictures and other art works to be sold at auction or by direct sale will be held on March 27 from 4-6pm. A special preview for Soroptimists andUnitingCare West will be held on April 3 from 4-6pm. ArtistsAround 40 selected artists will contribute paintings, textile and sculptural works to the SI Art Auction. Some additional works will be offered for sale at a fixed price.
